About Duohem
Last updated: 2 October 2026
Duohem is a co-parenting app for separated parents who share their children between two homes. It is made by Dalsten Group, a small independent app company in Sweden. We are not a law firm, a court or an authority, and nothing on this site is sponsored.
What we make
The Duohem app: a shared custody calendar, handovers, day swaps, messages that can't be deleted and shared expenses, in 14 languages, free for both parents with one Premium per family. On duohem.com we publish free tools that work without the app: custody schedule templates, school holiday planners, travel consent letters, parenting plan templates and child-support calculators.
How the content is made
The guides are written by the Duohem team. We use AI to help draft and translate them, and every page is then checked against its sources by people and by automated checks (numbers, dates and placeholders must match the source).
Every rule, amount and date comes from an official source that is linked on the page: courts, ministries and agencies. The calculators apply the published rules exactly and show which year they are valid for. School holiday dates come from the official school calendars via the OpenHolidays project.
Our editorial rules
- Neutral to both parents – we never take sides and never write to win an argument.
- Official sources first, linked on the page; no invented numbers, studies or quotes.
- Rules are checked when they change: Germany, Denmark and Sweden in January, France and the UK in April, Norway in July.
- General information, not legal advice – for your own case, talk to a lawyer, a mediator or the authority in your country.
- No sponsored content and no affiliate links.
